Call For Papers
Yves Congar, O.P.: Legacy and Future Directions Interest Group
Julia Brumbaugh (Conveners)
Convention Theme: Justice and Mercy
The Yves Congar Interest Group will meet for its final session at the 2016 CTSA convention. The group has considered Congar's theological contributions from two directions – one focusing on his historical legacy, the other investigating possible avenues for future theological inquiry inspired by Congar’s work. For this third and final year, we hope to convene a session that looks to the future by inviting papers that take some point of departure from Congar’s work, and, under his inspiration, move forward on some theological question.
Particularly, papers that address the conference theme of Justice and Mercy are welcomed, as are papers that take as their point of departure insights, questions or theological practices inspired by Congar’s work.
