Aquinas Institute of Theology and Ministry (AI), a Catholic graduate school animated by 800 years of Dominican tradition, invites nominations and applications for its next President. Impelled by the Catholic faith, AI educates men and women to preach, to teach, to minister, and to lead. The new president will join a fully engaged faculty, staff and Board of Trustees in strengthening, assessing, and further developing the school’s academic programs and services. The president should possess excellent leadership, collaboration, and management skills. The president will be expected to galvanize the implementation of AI’s new strategic plan, and to provide tactical leadership in the areas of enrollment management and institutional advancement. Appointment is expected to begin in August, 2013.
Prominent features of AI’s academic profile are the Leadership Formation for Healthcare Ministries, the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Preaching, Master of Divinity (MDiv) for priestly formation and the Hybrid Online-Resident Degrees. AI has a strong tradition of working collaboratively with Bishops and diocesan leadership in developing formation programs that respond to the growing need for education in theology as well as intercultural competencies in ministry and ecclesial leadership.
