Dominican University Department of Theology and Pastoral Ministry invites applications for a full time tenure track position in Scripture at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2013. Candidates must be able to teach courses both on the Hebrew Bible and on the New Testament. Preference will be given to candidates who have the capacity to teach ecumenical, interfaith or comparative theology as well. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their support of the university's Catholic Dominican mission, excellence in teaching, and scholarship. Teaching load is 3/3 and includes opportunities to teach in the interdisciplinary seminar programs which lie at the heart of the University’s undergraduate core curriculum, and to work with students at the undergraduate and graduate level who are preparing for pastoral ministry.
