The Religious Studies Department of Gonzaga University invites applicants for a tenure-track, full-time, position in American Religious Cultures/History to begin fall 2014. Rank is at the assistant professor or instructor level. The position is a 3/3 teaching load, with primary emphasis on undergraduate teaching. Required qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD in the field of American Religious Cultures/History (with degree in hand by the end of the first year of employment). The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in American Religious Cultures/History with an emphasis in either African-American, NativeAmerican, Latino/a-American, or Asian-American Religious Experiences/Traditions/Cultures; and show evidence of promise in the areas of scholarship and research.
