Assistant or Associate Professor in Systematic Theology

Saint Louis University, a Jesuit Catholic institution dedicated to education, research, healthcare and service, seeks applicants for a position at the rank of Assistant or Associate professor in Systematic/Constructive Theology. Successful candidates will be well-versed in the Roman Catholic tradition and be research active in one or more areas of the discipline. Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply.

The Department of Theological Studies seeks a person with a strong record of publication and teaching experience commensurate with rank. The successful candidate will also have an active research agenda that complements existing faculty strengths. The candidate must have a PhD or equivalent in hand at time of application. He or she also should be committed to undergraduate teaching and mentoring that supports the university's core and departmental major/minor programs as well as dedication to graduate instruction. Standard departmental teaching load is 2/2. Candidates must be supportive of the Catholic and Jesuit ideals of the university.
