Tenure-track position at rank of Assoc/Asst Professor
in Theology and Culture

The Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Associate or Assistant (advanced) Professor in Theology and Culture to begin in fall 2013. The candidate’s teaching, research and publications focus on contemporary cultural theory and Catholic experience in the U .S. and/or in global contexts and its influences on the contours of Catholic theology. Particular consideration will be given to candidates whose expertise includes intercultural or interreligious dialogue, African-American or Hispanic experience.

Candidates possess an earned doctorate. Publication, research, teaching and service records should be commensurate with experience. The person who fills the position will have a rigorous research agenda, teach innovative undergraduate and graduate (MA) courses, and perform service to the Department, College and the University.
