Is the Eucharist just a private moment between me and Jesus? Or is it a communcal act of praise and thanksgiving that draws us into relationship with God, other Christians, and the whole human family? This lecture will explore the history of Christian Eucharis and the many possibilities for communion that flow from what Vatican II called the “source and summit” of the Christian life.
In gratitude to John Carroll University for its continued courtesy to house the Society, the CTSA offers an annual lecture at John Carroll. The annual lecture is named after Dolores L. Christie, Ph.D. to honor her for her years of service as executive director to the Society (1996 - 2011).
