Keys to Effective Searches
1.
Simply enter the variables for which you are searching, and remember that widening the search criteria will yield a larger return of results. For example, if you are searching for information on a member with a last name of Zither and a search of Zither does not yield results, you might try using Z as the search criteria in the Last Name field, to access all members whose name begins with Z.
2. If the person for whom you are searching has "punctuation marks" such as an apostrophe or accent mark in their name, please search on the first letter(s) of the last name (before the punctuation) and locate them in the resulting list of search results. For example, if you are searching for information on a member whose last name is O'Clock, use O as the search criteria in the Last Name field to access all members whose name begins with O; then locate the member from that list.
3. The "Previous" and "Next" buttons are to be used to move between records in a list. For example, if you search for members whose name begins with D, these buttons will allow you to move forward and back within the list, as all the resulting records may not fit on one page. Likewise, once you have accessed the details of a members listing, you can move forward and back to the details of other members who meet the search criteria. |
