All interested members are invited to a CTSA-sponsored panel and conversation
on the lived experience of lost employment, the ethics of worker justice amid financial strictures
at Catholic universities, and the possibilities for theology's place outside the academy.
What images or notions of Christ ground the idea of the United States as a Christian nation? This virtual event examines the christological language appropriated by adherents to Christian Nationalism, and asks, “How might different strands of Catholic christological reflection respond to this vision of Jesus Christ?” What are the implications for movements toward a Catholic theology of the nation? |
