Donald Senior was a magnificent person and a great scholar. My condolences to his many friends and colleagues, especially at Catholic Theological Union. His death is a loss for our church and world.

Many years ago Don Senior came to our Weber Center (Adrian) for a weekend. I attended, and it completely changed my thinking. As a result I pursued theological studies and ended up teaching at Ecumenical Theological Seminary. I will always be grateful for his wisdom.

I remember Don Senior from my time in Louvain, Belgium. We had a wonderful group of doctoral students there from the US, UK, Republic of Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, and NZ and we often got together socially. Don was a gracious friend and I saw him for the last time at CTU in Sept, 2019. He is in the fullness of God's Light and Life and Love now. I can hear God saying to him: "Well done, my dear Don, preaching, teaching, healing, and administering, too!" And Don is gabbing too with his NT Leuven Professor, Frans Neirynckx!
