Walt and his wife Joann and I have connected, and collaborated, ever since I moved to the Philly area in 1992. We collaborated on John Henry Newman as well as articles (Walt) and book reviews (Joann) requested for Horizons. During those earlier years I helmed a yearly meeting of area theologians to which Walt and Joann attended faithfully, as well as others from Villanova and Philly's many other RC universities. Besides remembering his ideas, I have a vivid recall of Walt's voice and still hear it ringing in my ears! His voice was so distinctive. Edward Jeremy Miller, emeritus prof of Gwynedd Mercy University.
